Welcome to the e-Forum website

The e-Forum Association is dedicated to analysing the future needs of eGovernment in Europe, and promoting excellence in defining solutions to those needs by bringing the private and public sectors together. For members it is a network for exchange of ideas, a gateway to the latest eGovernment information, and a showcase for the solutions that will shape eGovernment over the next ten to fifteen years.

e-FORUM ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

The e-Forum has been created to provide members with the opportunity to share in best practice within the European Community, to explore ideas, ask questions, and offer opinions, within a secure discussion forum on any topics of professional interest to other e-Forum members.

Content of Discussion

The site is intended for matters of professional interest to e-Forum members, it is not for political comment or personal gossip. No aspersions should be cast on the personality of other participants in a discussion. One to one arguments, disagreements and disputes of a personal nature should be avoided. Please remember that you are legally responsible for what you write.

Advertising and Research

No advertising is allowed except where it is for an event, publication or similar item that has direct relevance to the e-Forum and it's constitution. Information about locating and sharing knowledge and expertise is welcomed, but within the specific discussion forum provided.

Language

You should be aware that messages posted on the discussion forum can be open to misinterpretation so try and avoid ambiguity. You should also ensure that your messages are not malicious or liable to offend. In particular, sexist or racist comments, or using swear words or other offensive language is not acceptable.

Complaints about a breach of this policy

You will recognise that the above is all about common sense and courtesy. If you feel that there has been a breach of this policy, complaints should ONLY be made by private e-mail to the Moderator at THE.MODERATOR@EU-FORUM.ORG The Moderator will take timely and appropriate action with regard to the complaint.

PLEASE NOTE, e-Forum reserve the right to remove items submitted by anyone who ignores the acceptable use policy, and to remove offending members access to the site immediately a breach is identified.

Membership Fees

The following charges apply for e-Forum membership - 2010

€2000 for Private Sector
€1250 for Public Sector
€750 for Associations and NGO
Individuals not working for any organisation ( i.e. individual researcher)
€200 (no voting rights except for founding members)
