e-Forum to host World e-ID Summit programme committee

e-Forum is to host on 23 April the programme committee of the World e-ID Summit, one of Europe’s leading electronic identity events, which will take place from 21-24 September 2010 in Sophia Antipolis, France.

The programme committee is headed by Detlef Houdeau, Senior Director of Business Development, Identification Market, Infineon/Silicon Trust. e-Forum’s director, Baudouin de Sonis, is a member of the committee, and e-Forum is a partner of the World e-ID Summit. The programme committee will meet following the closing on 15 March of the World e-ID Summit call for papers.

World e-ID 2010 will organise its programme around six main topics: national and transnational e-ID programmes: case studies and lessons learnt; e-Health; physical and logical access control systems; secure ID systems; eServices where e-ID is a key enabler; e-ID standardisation status and outlook; and privacy and e-Inclusion.

For more information, visit the World e-ID Summit website.
